Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an acute care hospital, requiring 2+ years of general CT experience and ARRT (R)(CT) certification.
Details
- Acute care setting within the CT department, operating 3 scanners (2 GE, 1 Siemens)
- General CT imaging with an average of 20-30 scans/studies per day
- No floating to other departments required
- Uses EPIC EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS
- 12-hour shifts, Friday-Sunday from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM
- Call requirement of 2 shifts per month
- Possible weekend and holiday coverage
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
- Must be able to start IVs
- License required if applicable
- Active state or compact (NLC) licensure required for the state of submission
- Driver's license copy required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform general CT imaging studies as part of a 3-scanner department
- Work under a Coordinator and Manager with no in-house radiologist or RRA support
- Navy blue scrub tops and black pants required, dress code specifics provided by facility
- Department-specific orientation provided, totaling 12 hours
- Clinicians must be in-state for orientation week even if initial modules are remote
- Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility
- Two professional references required, including one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both noting rehire eligibility
