Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital assignment, requiring 1+ year of acute care experience and a South Carolina or Multistate Compact OT license.
Details
- Acute inpatient occupational therapy unit within a hospital-based setting
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday 8:00a-4:30p
- Weekend coverage required approximately 1-2 times per month
- Holiday coverage as needed
- Epic charting system used
Requirements
- Current South Carolina or Multistate Compact Occupational Therapist license required at start of contract (license required if applicable)
- BLS certification required
- NBCOT certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care setting
- Prior travel experience required
- Valid driver's license and SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide occupational therapy services to acute inpatient hospital patients
- Red scrub top and black scrub pants required
- Free parking available on-site
- During hurricane season (June-November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for 1 year before returning as a traveler
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of application for facility approval
- Local candidates within 60 miles are not accepted for this position
