Description
American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift role at a high-risk regional perinatal center requiring 1-2 years of L&D experience and NY licensure.
Details
- Work in the Labor & Delivery department of a high-risk regional perinatal center
- Unit averages 10+ births per day
- Unit includes 21 labor beds, 2 triage beds, 2 same-day admit beds, 3 ORs, and a 4-bed PACU
- Patients transition from Labor and Delivery to the PP unit after 2 hours of recovery
- Nurse-to-patient ratio depends on assignment, with a target of 1:2
- Night shift schedule (7p-7a) on an every-other-weekend rotation
- No blocked scheduling available
- EPIC EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active and clear NY RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- 1-2 years of L&D RN experience required
- 3+ years of L&D experience with OR circulating experience preferred

- Scrubs provided on-unit via scrub machine
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility are accepted
