Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active MA RN license and independent strip-reading skills
Details
- Emergency Department setting within a hospital
- 12-hour night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
- Every other weekend required
- Floating to Addison Gilbert Hospital required as needed
- No monitor techs on unit, nurses must independently read cardiac strips
- Uses EPIC EMR
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required at time of consideration
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Must be able to pass a day-one pass/fail competency test at orientation (one attempt only)
- Must pass Relias onboarding modules within 2 attempts
Additional Information
- Biweekly orientation schedule
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates not considered
- Candidates who have worked at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility within the last 6 months will not be considered
- Required vaccinations include COVID-19 (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
- First-time travelers may be considered
