Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a Float Pool night shift position requiring at least 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience and a Massachusetts RN license.
Details
- Float Pool position covering all Med/Surg Telemetry floors as needed
- Floating required to like units and overflow areas
- 12-hour night shift schedule (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
- Weekend and holiday shifts expected
- Biweekly orientation schedule
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license required in hand
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience required
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
- Must pass Telemetry Competency Exam
- Must pass ECG/Tele and Medications tests during onboarding with only one attempt allowed, scoring at least 85%
- Testing must be completed within 48 hours of offer with no remediation or re-sit opportunity
- Documented professional development activities required
- Knowledge of critical paths required
- Charge nurse experience preferred
Additional Information
- Care provided to Med/Surg Telemetry patient population across multiple floors
- Charge nurse responsibilities not required for this role
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Local candidates not accepted
- Previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break from any BILH facility before returning
- Required vaccinations include COVID-19 (plus booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
- RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration
- Interview conducted by hiring manager
