Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) unit requiring 2+ years of recent acute experience and prior travel assignment experience.

Details

• 30-bed Progressive Care Stepdown/Transitional (IMC) unit within a 171-bed Joint Commission accredited community hospital and regional referral center
• Level 3 Trauma facility and Certified Chest Pain Center
• Adult and geriatric patient population with conditions including STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, sepsis, CABG pod 2, acute respiratory failure, atrial fibrillation with RVR, ALIF, and EXLIF
• Patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:3
• Uses Medhost EHR
• 13-week assignment on night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• On-call requirements apply
• Floating required to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, including ED holds pending admission
• Weekly orientation schedule
• No block schedule requests accepted, though 48-hour schedules may be considered but not guaranteed

Requirements

• Active AZ or Compact RN license
• 2+ years of recent acute care experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• AHA certifications required
• Active Nursys/licensure verification required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Located in Lake Havasu City, AZ, known for outdoor recreation, mountain ranges, and lake scenery
• Within driving distance of Las Vegas, Phoenix, Grand Canyon National Park, and Los Angeles/San Diego
• Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate; local candidates within this radius may be considered at the local rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
