Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) unit requiring 2+ years of recent acute experience and prior travel assignment experience.
Details
- 30-bed Progressive Care Stepdown/Transitional (IMC) unit within a 171-bed Joint Commission accredited community hospital and regional referral center
- Level 3 Trauma facility and Certified Chest Pain Center
- Adult and geriatric patient population with conditions including STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, sepsis, CABG pod 2, acute respiratory failure, atrial fibrillation with RVR, ALIF, and EXLIF
- Patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:3
- Uses Medhost EHR
- 13-week assignment on night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- On-call requirements apply
- Floating required to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, including ED holds pending admission
- Weekly orientation schedule
- No block schedule requests accepted, though 48-hour schedules may be considered but not guaranteed
Requirements
- Active AZ or Compact RN license
- 2+ years of recent acute care experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- AHA certifications required
- Active Nursys/licensure verification required at time of consideration

- Located in Lake Havasu City, AZ, known for outdoor recreation, mountain ranges, and lake scenery
- Within driving distance of Las Vegas, Phoenix, Grand Canyon National Park, and Los Angeles/San Diego
- Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate; local candidates within this radius may be considered at the local rate
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
