Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 3 years of OR experience and prior travel nursing experience.
Details
- Operating Room unit assignment within a hospital setting
- Rotating Monday through Friday 10-hour shifts (0700-1700 or 0900-1900)
- 26-week contract length
- Rotating on-call responsibilities during weekdays and weekends based on department needs
- On-call coverage required during holidays
- May occasionally float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 3 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
- Minimum 1 year of prior travel nursing experience required
- Robotic surgery experience preferred
- Scrub nurse experience helpful
- Epic EMR experience required
- Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Must reside within a facility-specific radius to qualify for full travel pay rate; local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
- Candidates should discuss contract extension with their manager approximately 45 days prior to assignment end date
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required
