Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift assignment requiring 2 years of experience and an active OK or Compact RN license.

Details

• 24-bed Medical Surgical unit
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45-7:15), 36 hours per week
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6
• Documentation via EPIC EMR system
• Floating to like units within scope as needed, with brief orientation provided
• First-time travelers accepted

Requirements

• Active OK or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Skilled in isolation precautions/PPE, non-invasive airway management, IV therapy/phlebotomy, peripheral line care, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response
• Experience with rapid response/code teams

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within a Medical Surgical unit setting
• Navy scrub color required
• Does not accept candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility
• Former permanent staff must have separated from employment for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• No travel pairs or groups accepted
