Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) with experience across outpatient, ICU, ED, Med/Surg, Pediatrics, and OB settings for a 13-week hospital assignment.

Details

• Work across multiple departments including outpatient, med/surg, ICU, pediatrics, OB, and ED
• Outpatient duties may include PFTs, Holter monitors/ZioPatches, telemedicine with pulmonary physician, home sleep study instruction, and stress tests
• Inpatient duties include high-risk deliveries and c-sections in OB
• Rotating 12-hour shifts covering both days and nights
• Rotating weekend shifts required
• On-call responsibilities overnight from 7p-6a
• 36 hours per week expected schedule

Requirements

• Current RRT or CRT credential
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Experience across all age ranges, from neonates to adults
• ICU, ER, Med/Surg, Peds, and L&D experience with neonate exposure preferred
• COVID and flu vaccinations required
• SD state license required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform respiratory therapy services across a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient settings
• Support high-risk OB deliveries and surgical procedures
• Training available for holter/zio monitor setup, telemedicine, and home sleep study equipment if not already experienced
• Blocked scheduling and specific scheduling requests are not permitted
• Prior Avera or Sanford permanent employees are not eligible for this position
