Description

American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Room RN with a CA license for a Level II trauma center requiring 2+ years of ER experience and prior travel experience.

Details

• 350+ bed non-teaching community hospital with a Level II trauma designation
• 30+ bed ER seeing 45,000+ patients annually
• Patient ratios depend on acuity and census, mandated by the state of CA
• 12-hour rotating evening/night shifts, 36 hours per week, with 3p/5p/7p start times
• Typically works every other weekend
• Will float as needed within scope of skill
• Epic EMR used, experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 2+ years of ER experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Some trauma experience required
• Pediatric ER experience strongly preferred
• Two clinical references required from the last two places of employment, including one from a Nurse Manager or Director and covering the last year of employment
• Complete employment history for the past 7 years, including explanations for any gaps over 30 days
• Current skills checklist required, valid within the last year

• Any color scrubs permitted, with details provided upon first day of assignment
