Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a community hospital setting requiring 2+ years of acute care experience and ARRT-CT certification.

Details

Community-based hospital in an urban area with 351 licensed beds
No trauma designation, but recognized as a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center, and a teaching hospital
Average census of 100 patients/day across IP/ED/OP
10-hour day shifts, Tuesday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, 40 hours/week
Minimum of 2 techs staffed on all shifts
Uses EPIC EMR and Siemens CT Force and Siemens AS64 CT equipment
No floating required
No on-call or call-back requirements
Variable weekend rotation depending on shift needs

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required
BLS and ARRT-CT certification required
License required if applicable
ED experience preferred
Must be comfortable managing high patient volumes and complex cases
EPIC EMR experience required
Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration
Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

Additional Information

First-time travelers will be considered
Travelers will work approximately 75% of holidays
Black scrub color required
Free on-site parking available
Family-friendly, just culture work environment
Facility orientation includes New Employee Orientation (NEO) plus 2 days of departmental orientation
Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
Returning employees must have been separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year following a permanent position
