Description

American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for an outpatient and acute care setting, offering opportunities for new grads and first-time travelers with CCC-SLP certification and MBSImP experience.

Details

• Covers both acute care and outpatient therapy settings
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00am-4:30pm
• Meditech charting system used, experience preferred
• Requires independent work including ICU coverage and performing MBSS
• Holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required; new grads may be considered
• BLS and CCC-SLP certification required
• MBSImP certification required with ability to train staff on unit
• FEES certification preferred
• Experience performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies required
• Experience with TIMS West Coast preferred
• License required if applicable

• Willing to consider candidates with limited experience, including new grads, who can work independently
• First-time travelers accepted

• Non-billable orientation modules included as part of onboarding
• Former permanent employees must wait 12 months before returning as travelers
• Management willing to work with clinicians on time off requests, though minimal RTO preferred
