Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) position requiring 2+ years of recent acute and ICU experience along with prior travel experience.
Details
- Community hospital and regional referral center with 171 beds, Joint Commission accredited, Certified Chest Pain Center, and Level III Trauma designation
- IMC/Progressive Care Stepdown Transitional unit with 30 beds
- Adult and geriatric patient population including STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, sepsis, CABG pod 2, acute respiratory failure, atrial fibrillation with RVR, ALIF, and EXLIF cases
- Patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:3
- Uses Medhost EHR
- Night shift schedule, 3x12s from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, including ED holds for patients awaiting admission
- On-call required with a 30-minute reporting window when activated
Requirements
- Active AZ RN license or compact license required
- 2+ years of recent acute care experience required
- ICU experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- AHA certifications required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide intermediate/step-down level care to adult and geriatric patients with complex cardiac, respiratory, and post-surgical conditions
- Weekly orientation offered
- Block schedule requests not accepted, though 48-hour schedules may be considered but not guaranteed
- Located in Lake Havasu City, AZ, offering outdoor recreation, mountain and lake scenery, with proximity to Las Vegas, Phoenix, the Grand Canyon, and Southern California
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
