Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN - Operating Room with a TX or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent OR experience for a 13-week assignment.

Details

• Surgery unit with 9 OR suites plus a dedicated cysto room
• Unit staffed by roughly 50 team members with a free charge RN and float teams on day shift
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Procedures include ortho (totals and sports med), spine, neuro, vascular, general surgery, bariatrics, robotics, and urology
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• One weekday call shift required per week
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR experience required
• General and ortho surgical experience required
• CV and DaVinci robotic experience preferred
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration (Canadian SSN not accepted)
• One professional reference required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Assist with a wide range of surgical procedures across multiple specialties including ortho, spine, neuro, vascular, general, bariatric, robotic, and urology cases
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
• First-time travelers may be considered
