Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a Home Health assignment in the San Francisco metropolitan area, requiring a minimum of 1 year of Home Health/OASIS experience.
Details
- Home Health setting covering San Francisco, primarily the downtown area
- Caseload of approximately 5-6 patients per day
- Cases involve gait training, strength building, and range of motion therapy
- Day shift schedule with options for 4x10s or 5x8s
- Territory includes a heavily populated homeless area; comfort walking/parking in this environment required, though direct care with this population is not part of the role
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Current BLS certification required
- Valid California OT license required in hand at time of consideration; license required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of Home Health experience with OASIS required
- Reference from a previous agency in Home Health or Hospice required
- Kinnser/Wellsky charting experience preferred but not required
- Previous travel experience required
Additional Information
- Provide skilled OT services focused on gait, strength, and range of motion for home health patients
- Scrubs of any color permitted for dress code
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
- Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate, or Uber rides covered as an alternative if preferred
- RTO must be provided at time of consideration
