Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring ER experience and floating to Med Surg at a critical access hospital.

Details

Critical access hospital located 2.5 hours from the nearest large hospital
Emergency Department with med surg floating required
Diagnoses vary from highway-related trauma to elderly ailments due to wide-ranging patient population
Night shift schedule, 7p-7a, 12-hour shifts
No on-call responsibilities
Uses CPSI EMR

Requirements

Active RN license (CO or compact) required
BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of ER experience required, 2 years preferred
Experience floating between Med Surg and ER required

Additional Information

Provide emergency and med surg nursing care to a diverse patient population including trauma and geriatric cases
Manager interview required prior to offer
