Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care/SNF unit requiring an active AK RN license and 1 year of LTC experience.
Details
- LTC/SNF care setting within the Wellness unit
- 12-hour day/night rotating shifts, including a 6p-6:30a night shift option
- 36 guaranteed hours per week over a 13-week assignment
- No floating required
- Nurse to patient ratio of 1:18 during days and 1:25 during nights
- Uses EPIC EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing system
Requirements
- Active AK RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of LTC experience required
- BSN preferred but not required
- Comfortable using PC, applicable software, and clinical databases
Additional Information
- Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles
- General and Planetree orientation required prior to starting
- Required to complete all facility training modules before start date
- Scrubs required for dress code
- COVID vaccination or declination form required; unvaccinated staff must wear masks
- Accepts local candidates
