Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of recent CT experience and ARRT (CT) certification for a Level II Trauma Center night shift assignment.

Details

• CT Tech role within Radiology/Cardiology department
• Adult acute care setting including Emergency Department and ICU
• Level II Trauma Center
• 4x10 night shift schedule, Wednesday-Saturday from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• EPIC and Cerner charting experience preferred
• Performs abdomen and pelvis, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies
• Utilizes GE equipment and PACS system for image display and post-processing including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent CT experience required; 3+ years preferred
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Trauma Level I experience required; Level II experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Proficiency in contrast media preparation and administration
• Skills in isolation precautions/PPE and venipuncture
• Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment

Additional Information

• Performs specialized CT procedures including coronary CTA, brain perfusion, and vascular studies as needed
• If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall within the assignment, must be willing to work 2 of the 3 holidays; if only 2 holidays fall within the assignment, must work at least 1
• First-time travelers are not accepted unless they have 3+ years of recent experience in this specialty
• Former permanent staff or travelers must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning
• Local candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application; RTO requested after an offer is made will not be approved
• Schedule may be subject to change based on department needs
