Description
American Traveler is seeking an Inpatient Rehab RN with an active IL RN license and at least 1 year of rehab, LTAC, or inpatient med/surg experience.
Details
- Inpatient Rehab unit setting
- Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 6:45 PM
- 13-week assignment length
- Patient ratio of 1:7
- Utilizes skills in respiratory care including nasal cannula, oxygen administration, and tracheostomy care/management
- Provides IV therapy and peripheral line care/management
- Performs cardiac monitoring and emergency response, including use of Rapid Response/Code teams
Requirements
- Active IL RN license in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience required; Rehab or LTAC experience accepted, inpatient med/surg experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers with 2+ years of experience may be considered
- Nursys report required at submission, pulled within the last 2 weeks
- No license actions or hits allowed
Additional Information
- RTO limited to no more than 3 days, and no RTO permitted during the first or last week of the contract
- Any block scheduling or special schedule requests must be submitted and discussed prior to offer acceptance
- Former UCM, PRN, or Ingalls permanent staff must have separated from employment for at least 7 months before returning as a traveler
- Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
- Non-billable orientation modules (2-3 hours) required, varying by profession
