Description
American Traveler is hiring a Stepdown/CPU RN with a GA or compact license and at least 3 years of recent stepdown experience.
Details
- Work in the Step Down unit within a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPU) setting
- Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend (EOW) shift rotation required
- Uses Cerner EMR
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 3+ years of recent Stepdown experience required
- Fetal monitoring (FM) skills at intermediate/advanced level
- Telemetry monitoring experience required
- IV start skills required
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Driver's license copy required for consideration
Additional Information
- Holiday coverage required
- Minimal to no RTO accommodations available during the assignment
- Royal blue scrubs required and not provided by facility
- Candidates residing 31-50 miles from the facility are eligible for the local rate
- Candidates living less than 30 miles from the facility are not accepted
