Description
American Traveler is seeking an RN - Operating Room with 2+ years OR experience and Epic proficiency for a day shift position with occasional call.
Details
- Surgical Services department within an acute care hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, 6:30am-5pm, four 10-hour shifts per week
- No weekend shifts required
- Call required up to 40 hours on a 6-week rotating schedule
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active KY or Compact RN license required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
- Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation in the OR setting
- Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel and serves as a mentor/preceptor
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support patient and family needs
- Participates in quality, safety, and service process improvement initiatives
- Complies with regulatory standards and organizational practice governance model
