Description
American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 1+ year of experience to treat a diverse caseload including geriatric patients at a single-location outpatient clinic.
Details
- Outpatient physical therapy setting at a single location
- Caseload of 8-10 patients per day
- Common diagnoses include general orthopedic, neurologic, BPPV, and vestibular conditions, with a large geriatric population
- Uses Cerner EMR
- Day shift hours vary between 0700 and 1730, typically 8-hour shifts
- No weekend or holiday requirements
- Reports to the Rehab Director
- Supported by PTAs and Rehab Techs
Requirements
- Active PT license required if applicable
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience required
- EMR experience required
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility
- Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year
Additional Information
- Main responsibilities include evaluating and treating outpatients with orthopedic, neurologic, and vestibular conditions
- Department-specific orientation provided, including environment, processes, and EMR training
- Dress code requires burgundy scrub top and bottom or burgundy polo shirt with dark pants
- Open to first-time travelers
