Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring an active MA RN license and 3-4 years of PACU experience.

Details

• Ambulatory PACU unit within a 440-bed hospital setting
• Ambulatory surgical/procedural patient population
• 25 total beds with a daily caseload of approximately 35 patients
• 10-hour evening shifts, 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM
• 40 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• No floating or charge nurse responsibilities required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• 3-4 years of clinical PACU experience required
• EPIC experience required
• Prior travel experience not required

Additional Information

• Peri-anesthesia care provided to ambulatory surgical patients
• Frequent interaction with students and new hires, requiring a supportive and collaborative approach
• Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for 6+ months to be considered
• Required vaccinations include COVID-19 (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
• Pass/Fail testing may be required for Tele/ECG and Medication at certain campuses
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration, as requests made afterward will not be approved
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are not accepted, and candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
