Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring 3-4 years of PACU experience and an active MA RN license.
Details
- Ambulatory PACU unit within a 440-bed hospital setting
- Peri-anesthesia specialty supporting ambulatory surgical and procedural cases
- 25 total beds with an average daily caseload of 35 patients
- 10-hour evening shifts, 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM, 40 hours per week
- No floating or charge responsibilities required
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required in hand
- 3-4 years of clinical PACU experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- BLS certification required
- Prior travel experience not required
Additional Information
- Provide perianesthesia nursing care for ambulatory surgical and procedural patients
- Frequent interaction with students and new hires, requiring a supportive team approach
- Must complete required COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine, with medical exemptions allowed
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility and local candidates are not accepted
- Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning
- RTO requests must be submitted at time of application, as later requests will not be approved
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
