Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a Float Pool position requiring MA licensure and at least 2 years of Med Surg Tele experience.
Details
- Float Pool unit within a hospital setting
- 12-hour day shift, 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM, 36 hours per week
- Weekends and holidays expected
- Float required to like units and overflow areas
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required in hand
- Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience required
- Must pass Telemetry Competency Exam
- Documented professional developmental activities and knowledge of critical paths required
- Charge Nurse experience preferred
Additional Information
- Must pass ECG/Telemetry and Medications tests during onboarding with only one attempt allowed, requiring an 85% passing score with no remediation or re-sit opportunity
- Testing must be completed within 48 hours of offer via Zoom with CCH
- Flu vaccine required during compliance period, with medical exemptions allowed
- COVID vaccine plus booster also required, with medical exemptions allowed
- Maximum of 3 days RTO permitted with no holiday RTO approved
- Previous BILH employees (Travel, Perm, Per Diem) must complete a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
- No local candidates accepted
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
