Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a Float Pool night shift assignment requiring an active MA RN license and 2+ years of Med Surg Telemetry experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Float Pool unit assignment
• Medical-Surgical Telemetry patient population
• 12-hour night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
• Weekends and holidays expected
• Required to float to like units and overflow areas

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience required
• Must pass Telemetry Competency Exam and Medications Test during onboarding with only one attempt allowed (85% passing score, no remediation)
• Documented professional developmental activities and knowledge of critical paths required
• Charge Nurse experience preferred

Additional Information

• Flu vaccine required during flu season; COVID vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions allowed)
• Dysrhythmia and Medication tests administered by CCH via Zoom Protector meeting prior to assignment, must be completed within 48 hours of offer
• Candidates should prepare using the client-provided study guide prior to testing
• No more than three days of RTO will be approved and no holiday RTO will be approved
• All RTO requests must be presented at time of consideration
• Previous BILH employees (Travel, Perm, or Per Diem) must complete a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
• No local candidates allowed; must reside outside a 50-mile radius
• First-time travelers considered for this position
