Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT-CT certification and at least 1 year of experience for a community hospital setting.

Details

• Community hospital setting including adult acute care, adult outpatient, and emergency department areas
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Uses PACS and Philips CT equipment
• Epic EMR experience required
• May be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted location

Requirements

• ARRT-CT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Fluoroscopy permit required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Valid compact state license required in hand at time of submission (license required if applicable)
• Experience with abdomen and pelvis CT, with and without contrast
• Experience with chest, head and neck CT, with and without contrast
• Experience with spine and musculoskeletal imaging including cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and trauma cases
• Experience with multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) post processing
• Experience with preparation and administration of contrast media
• Ability to start peripheral IVs preferred
• Experience with special procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, drainage, and vascular CTA preferred
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the application process, as post-offer requests may not be accommodated
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Former permanent employees may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history with Providence facilities, including permanent, travel, or registry/per-diem roles
