Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring CA RN licensure and ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.

Details

  • Emergency Department setting within an acute care hospital
  • Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • PALS certification required
  • NIHSS certification required
  • CPI, TEAM, or TEAM-A certification required
  • BSN preferred
  • Acute care facility experience preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of recent experience in the ER specialty, within the last 3 months

Additional Information

  • Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients following the nursing process
  • Supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
  • Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnosis and care needs
  • Develop and implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe environment
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe and compassionate care
  • Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
  • Delegate tasks appropriately among healthcare team members
  • Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
  • Candidates with a prior licensure action will not be considered
  • Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction; local pay rates match travel rates
