Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring TN or compact RN licensure and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

Hospital-based 14-bed L&D unit
Patient population consists of expecting persons
Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2
12-hour night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
No block schedule offered; must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs
Weekend shifts required
Unit creates the staff schedule
Floating required to Helping Hands, NICU, and Postpartum
Uses Cerner and GE Centricity EMR systems
Surgical scrubs provided

Requirements

Active TN or compact RN license required on file at time of submission
Current BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring, and ACLS certifications required
Minimum of 2 years of L&D nursing experience required
Prior travel nursing experience required
Must be able to circulate

Additional Information

Provide nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients in a fast-paced L&D environment
Orientation limited to specific dates: 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, and 10/26
No time off approved between 9/19 and 10/17 due to an Epic Go Live event
Local candidates accepted at a lower rate outside the 75-mile radius
Candidates residing within 74.9 miles are eligible for the local rate
