Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position on night shift, open to first-time travelers with 2+ years of experience.

Details

• Emergency Department setting in a hospital environment
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-7:00
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
• Copies of required certifications must be provided for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Maximum RTO of 7 days, with dates finalized at time of consideration
• Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within the assignment period (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day)
• If one or two major holidays occur during the assignment, no holiday RTO may be requested
• If three major holidays occur during the assignment, one holiday RTO request may be considered
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Travel pairs cannot be assigned to the same shift on the same unit
• Returning travelers must be away from all facilities within the health system for a full year before returning as a traveler
