Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor and Delivery RN for a night shift position requiring MN licensure, BCLS, NRP certification, and IV start skills.

Details

• Work in a Labor and Delivery unit with 17 rooms/beds
• Average daily census of 3 labors, 3-4 postpartum patients, and 1-2 level 2 babies
• Night shift schedule (4x12 hours, 19:00-7:30), with 3x12 or 4x12 options available
• Float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required (pending license accepted)
• Current BCLS and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• IV start skills required; triage experience preferred
• Epic/Excellian EMR experience may be required
• At least one supervisor reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care across labor, postpartum, and neonatal patient populations
• Complete pre-start orientation modules prior to beginning the assignment
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
• Returning travelers must have a 3-month gap since their last shift worked in a permanent staff or per diem role
• RTO requests ideally limited to no more than 5 days
