Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring an active MA RN license and 2 years of ICU experience.

Details

• Work in the ICU, primarily caring for medical ICU patients
• Night shift, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend and holiday required
• Must have flexibility to start 4 hours prior to or 4 hours after scheduled start time based on department need
• Float to Extended Care Unit as needed
• Uses Epic charting system
• Scheduling based on unit needs; no block schedules accommodated
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• Must pass EKG test
• Two references required for consideration, one from a Nurse Manager or higher

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to primarily medical ICU patients
• Candidates with priors on their nursing license cannot be considered
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside within 200 miles of the facility
