Description

American Traveler is hiring a Stepdown RN for a hospital setting requiring OH or compact RN license and recent stepdown experience with rotating day/night shifts.

Details

• Hospital Stepdown unit (HVTI-Stepdown) setting
• Potential to float to J1-2, J33, and ED units to care for same patient population
• 3x12 shift schedule with day (7:00-19:30) or night (19:00-7:30) rotating shifts
• Shifts may vary to meet operational needs of the hospital
• Assignment length available for 13 or 18 weeks for winter coverage
• Every other holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact state license in hand required
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty applying for, preferably within one location
• Minimum 18 months of recent Stepdown experience required; travel experience accepted
• PCU/Progressive care experience preferred but not required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment must be passed during orientation
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required, medical/religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within a stepdown/progressive care unit environment
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Returning permanent employees must wait one year from previous end date before applying
• RTO must be discussed and finalized at time of interview/submission
• Assignments capped at 18 consecutive months, with a minimum 6-month break required before another Cleveland Clinic assignment
