Description
American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift contract requiring KS or compact RN license and at least one year of hospital telemetry experience.
Details
- General med-surg/telemetry unit with 36 beds (29 rooms and 7 semi-private spaces)
- Patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4
- 12-hour night shifts, 1900-0730
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- May occasionally float to acute care or overflow/surge units housing med-surg patients
Requirements
- Active KS or compact RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Telemetry RN in a hospital setting required
Additional Information
- Nicotine-free facility
- Must attend in-person NEO orientation Monday and Tuesday of start week, DON training Wednesday and Thursday, and virtual Epic training Friday
- Holiday coverage required based on unit needs; must work two major holidays, choosing from Thanksgiving Eve/Day, Christmas Eve/Day, or New Year's Eve/Day
- Accepts local and travel candidates at the same bill rate
