Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position requiring CA RN licensure, ACLS certification, and EPIC experience.
Details
- Medical ICU unit within a 25-bed critical access hospital
- Day shift, 36-hour contract, 07:00 AM-07:30 PM
- Requires EPIC experience
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC-ALS)
- PALS certification preferred
- Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required
- Critical care experience required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- No candidates with a prior hit on their license will be considered
Additional Information
- Delivers coordinated nursing care using the nursing process for an assigned patient group
- Supervises and directs various levels of nursing staff and coordinates care across disciplines
- Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to support a safe, healing environment
- Provides patient/family education and participates in discharge planning
- Delegates tasks appropriately among healthcare team members
- Position is represented by UFCW
- Required vaccinations per Adventist Health policy, with medical and religious exemptions available
- Candidates with more than 5 days of RTO will be automatically declined
- Accepts local candidates with no radius rule; local rates match travel rates
- Traveler can only be submitted to one hospital within the Adventist Health system at a time
