Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring ACLS, PALS, and Crisis Management Training certification.
Details
- 83-bed hospital setting
- Emergency Department unit
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Alternating weekend requirement
- Uses Kronos for timekeeping
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA only)
- Crisis Management Training Certification (CPI or Northwell administered, or other in-person CMT course of at least 6 hours with certificate for review)
- NIHSS certification required
- TNCC certification preferred
- Two professional references or evaluations from the prior year in current discipline/specialty from a manager or above

- Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a reduced rate
- Travelers with prior work history at any Northwell/Nuvance Health location will undergo a review process to determine eligibility to return, which may extend processing time
