Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mandarin Language Arts Teacher for a K-8 school setting requiring valid South Carolina teaching certification.

Details

• Elementary and Middle School special area class for Mandarin language instruction
• K-8 student population
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 7:15 AM to 3:45 PM
• 40 hours per week

Requirements

• Valid South Carolina teaching certification required
• License required if applicable
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred
• Experience teaching foreign language at elementary and/or middle school level preferred
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls throughout the day
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Additional Information

• Develop and implement foreign language curriculum for Mandarin instruction
