Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring at least three years of relevant nursing experience and an active IL RN license.
Details
- Ortho Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 3 shifts per week (36 hours)
- Every other weekend and every other holiday shift required
- May float to Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Young Minds, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital
- Uses Epic for charting and documentation
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license in good standing (temporary license accepted)
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Epic charting experience required
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation
- Report and correct safety hazards to ensure patient and employee safety
- Collaborate with healthcare team members and participate in peer feedback and professional development
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates not accepted
- RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
- Contingent workers may not be on assignment for more than 1 year without a 6-month break in service before returning to any facility within the health system
