Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift assignment in a critical access hospital, requiring a VT or compact RN license and telemetry proficiency.
Details
- Four-bed open ICU setting in a critical access hospital
- Patient population includes pediatric, adult, and geriatric critical care patients
- 3, 12-hour night shifts per week (7pm-7am)
- 13-week assignment
- Travelers start on Wednesdays
Requirements
- Active VT or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Critical care experience required
- Must be able to read telemetry
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing following AACN standards adapted to each patient's age and abilities
- Located in a rural area approximately two hours from the nearest major airport with no public transportation available
- A dependable personal vehicle is required for the duration of the assignment
- Candidate is responsible for securing their own housing
