Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring recent ED experience and a GA or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Emergency Services department of a hospital setting
- 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
- Schedule varies between 7AM-7PM
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Emergency Department specialty
- Current certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA)
Additional Information
- Holiday coverage required for 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
- Returning staff who were previously permanent employees must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
