Description
American Traveler is hiring a Level IV NICU RN for a night-shift hospital role requiring at least one year of NICU experience and an active RN license.

- Neonatal ICU unit within a hospital setting
- Level IV NICU experience required
- Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly
Requirements
- Active Oklahoma RN license or multistate compact RN license
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- NRP certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care to NICU patients ranging from simple to complex health conditions
- Document patient responses to nursing interventions and treatments
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
- Monitor physiological data and intervene as necessary
- Administer medications and manage IV infusions and blood products
- Communicate care plans with patients and families, including discharge planning
- Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Facility enforces strict compliance deadlines; candidates must complete onboarding requirements promptly
- Returning travelers may extend a contract once for a maximum of 26 weeks, followed by a required 6-month separation before reapplying
