Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week acute medicine unit assignment requiring recent specialty experience and AHA BLS certification.
Details
- Acute Medicine Unit setting within a hospital
- 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
- Schedule may vary within a 7A-7P timeframe
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA state or compact)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Med/Surg specialty
- Required certification: AHA BLS
- Preferred certification: ACLS
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
- Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
- Holiday coverage required: 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) plus 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- RTO must be requested upfront prior to accepting an offer
