Description
American Traveler is seeking an Inpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 5x8-hour day shift assignment at a Western Colorado healthcare facility.
Details
- Inpatient setting covering CCU, Acute Care, and Day Surgery
- 5x8-hour day shifts
- 24-week assignment covering a leave of absence
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required
- Current CO PT license (DORA) or compact license required, if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of PT experience required, 3-5 years preferred
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
- Flu vaccination required with no declinations accepted, applicable October 1 through April 1
- CAPS registration required, which may take up to two weeks to obtain
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include evaluating patients and developing treatment plans to improve strength, ROM, balance, safety, and function
- Educates patients and caregivers on home exercise programs
- Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
- Possible housing opportunity available near the facility, subject to availability
