Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit requiring 2 years of experience and TN or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 40 beds
• Rehab nursing unit treating patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
• Patient ratios vary up to 1:7
• Uses Cerner EHR
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• No floating requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Rehab experience preferred
• Experience with common diagnoses including CVA, multitrauma, fractures, transplant, and cardiac conditions preferred
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

• Provide comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation nursing care to maximize patient health, function, and quality of life
• Calm and friendly demeanor preferred for this role
• Royal blue scrub color required
• Onsite parking garage available
• Permanent residence must be more than 60 miles from the facility
• Candidates who have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
