Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for weekend night shifts, requiring ARRT (R)(CT), BLS, and SC Radiology license (if applicable).

Details

• Work at a Primary Stroke Center covering CT and X-Ray for the ED and inpatients
• Saturday and Sunday nights only, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with no on-call required
• Two techs staffed per shift, with occasional patient transport to/from the ED
• Radiologists read remotely off-site and are available via Epic Radiant and PerfectServe secure paging
• Float to X-Ray as needed
• May float to other qualified units or campuses based on facility needs
• Equipment includes GE and Siemens CT scanners

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered CT and X-Ray technologist
• ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), and BLS certifications required
• SC Radiology license required, if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Epic EMR required
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Skilled in abdomen/pelvis, chest, head, spine, and musculoskeletal CT studies
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
• Proficient in radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
• Peripheral IV starting skills preferred
• Enterography and brain perfusion study experience preferred

Additional Information

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging for adult acute care and outpatient populations
• Assist with patient transport to and from the Emergency Department as needed
• Communicate with off-site radiologists for reads and consults
• Hunter green scrub color required
• First-time travelers will be considered based on experience
