Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for a 10-week assignment requiring MA licensure, BSN, and CCM certification.

Details

• Case Management position primarily on an orthopedic unit within an acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 5x8 hours per week
• Every 3rd weekend required
• Uses Epic for charting
• Union facility with no special scheduling accommodations; must be able to work all 7 days as scheduled

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• BLS certification required
• BSN required
• CCM certification required
• 3-5 years of RN experience required
• Acute care experience required
• Case Management/Utilization Review experience including care coordination, discharge planning, needs assessment, and DME ordering
• Familiarity with CMS and HIPAA regulatory guidelines
• Epic charting experience preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include care coordination, discharge planning, needs assessment, and ordering durable medical equipment
• Must complete a Pass/Fail EKG (Tele) test during orientation with an 80% passing score and only one attempt allowed
• Must complete a Pass/Fail Medication exam at orientation
• Additional compliance modules required pre-start and during orientation, with annual renewal
• Locals accepted with the same bill rate within a 200-mile radius
• Returning staff must have a 12-month separation from the health system
• Up to 14 days of RTO may be submitted for review, but no RTO is allowed during the first week
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
