Description
American Traveler is hiring a night-shift Pediatrics RN for a Pediatric Acute Care Surgical unit requiring OR RN licensure and acute care cardiac experience.
Details
- Pediatric Acute Care Surgical unit within a children's hospital setting
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours), 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Epic charting system used
- May be required to float to a nearby affiliate hospital
Requirements
- Active OR RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Acute care cardiac experience required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Epic EMR experience required for consideration
- Previous pediatric experience preferred
- Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) credential preferred
- Proof of COVID vaccination required with no exemptions accepted
Additional Information
- Provide surgical and acute care nursing services to pediatric patients
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no radius restriction
- Refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
- Requested time off must be submitted with the application and limited to no more than 2 weeks
- Former staff must have a 6-month break in service before returning as a traveler
- First-time travelers may be considered based on position details
