Description

American Traveler is hiring a night-shift Pediatrics RN for a Pediatric Acute Care Surgical unit requiring OR RN licensure and acute care cardiac experience.

Details

  • Pediatric Acute Care Surgical unit within a children's hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule (3x12 hours), 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • Epic charting system used
  • May be required to float to a nearby affiliate hospital

Requirements

  • Active OR RN license required
  • BLS certification required
  • Acute care cardiac experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required for consideration
  • Previous pediatric experience preferred
  • Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) credential preferred
  • Proof of COVID vaccination required with no exemptions accepted

Additional Information

  • Provide surgical and acute care nursing services to pediatric patients
  • Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no radius restriction
  • Refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
  • Requested time off must be submitted with the application and limited to no more than 2 weeks
  • Former staff must have a 6-month break in service before returning as a traveler
  • First-time travelers may be considered based on position details
