Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a critical care unit requiring MA licensure and 2+ years of CCU/ICU experience.
Details
- Critical care unit treating trauma, surgical, OB, neuro, medically unstable, and cardiac patients
- Acutely ill patients requiring monitoring, assessment, and interventions at least hourly
- Night shift schedule, 7p-7a, 3x12-hour shifts per week
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required (temporary MA license accepted)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of CCU/ICU experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Provide close monitoring and timely interventions for high-acuity patients across multiple specialties
- Blue scrubs recommended, though no strict color requirement
- Former staff employees of the facility are not eligible to return as travelers
- RTO limited to no more than 7 days during the assignment
- Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate within 50 miles of the facility
