Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN Case Manager for an acute care hospital setting, requiring 2 years of hospital case management experience and a CA RN license.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within the Case Management department
• Patient ratio of 1:20
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00 AM-4:30 PM)
• Weekend rotation required to meet department needs
• No floating expectation
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required, pending license accepted if licensed by start date
• 2 years of acute care hospital Case Manager experience performing care coordination and discharge planning required
• Hospital experience is required
• Prior travel nursing experience required, though first-time travelers will be screened for consideration
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience utilizing InterQual Criteria preferred
• Knowledge of CMS and DRG regulatory guidelines preferred
• 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include care coordination, discharge planning, and developing plans of care
• Scrub or business attire acceptable for dress code
• First-time travelers will be considered, subject to clinical screening
• RTO limited to no more than 7 days
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3 month waiting period
• Candidates who previously worked at a Providence facility must disclose location and dates worked
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted location
