Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience to perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in an outpatient setting.
Details
- Outpatient mammography setting performing screening and diagnostic procedures
- 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- 13-week assignment length
- May be required to float within the hospital based on patient care needs
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mammography required
- Current BLS certification required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- License required if applicable
- Experience with 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, screening mammograms, and stereotactic biopsy
- Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols
Additional Information
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures including 3-D mammography, stereotactic biopsy, and needle localizations
- Required orientation modules completed and signed off by facility managers
- Accepts local candidates at the same rate as non-local travelers
- Travel pairs accepted
- Former staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being considered for a travel assignment
- Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment, must be disclosed prior to consideration
